TIPS
The most important tip is to have fun and try new things!
Who knows you might like it :)
Our group grows and slims down every now and then. New people
join and some unfortunately move away.
We are a group of 10, add spouses and friends and we double.
Not everyone is able to make it to every dinner, but we typically have about
6 to 8 for a dinner. Our group is an assortment; some are married, divorced,
and never married! Ages range from the 50's down to the 20's.
We try to have the dinners on the Second Saturday of each
month, but that changes to accommodate holidays or schedules. No one wants
to miss a dinner and I personally get bummed missing out on all the good food
and fun!
This is what a typical dinner is for us, not every dinner
is like this but we use it as a guide.
The theme or main course is set by the host that month. The
host cooks the main dish, then everyone decides what side, salad, appetizer,
or dessert they will bring to complement the main course or theme.
I joined the supper club to meet new people and to expand
my taste buds. I live with a picky eater so this gives me an outlet to experiment
with different foods. Not only have I come to eat some fabulous food (even
the picky eater likes), I have made some wonderful friendships.
I hope this helps a little bit. You can always contact us
for more information.
Thank you.
